Tamás Rónaszéki

Violin artist Tamás Rónaszéki was born at Kiskőrös in 1961 as the fifth child of eight children. He began music lessons in his hometown. Following the completion of Bartók Conservatory of Budapest, he earned his degree from the Liszt Academy of Music in 1985.

In 1984 as still a music academy student, he started teaching at Kodály Zoltán Secondary School of Music in Kecskemét, then in 1989 he became the teacher of Bartók Conservatory of Budapest where he has been teaching violin ever since. His students have won the first prize, the grand prize and other awards at numerous nationwide violin contests. Since 2003 he has been the artist professor of chamber music studies at Liszt Ferenc University of Music.

In December 1983 he participated in the first concert of the Budapest Festival Orchestra at the Liszt Academy of Music and played music there until the orchestra became permanent. Meanwhile, in January 1984 he became a member of the Symphony Orchestra of the Hungarian Radio and in the same year he joined the
Budapest Strings.
