He was born in Budapest in 1961. He completed his studies in Debrecen where he graduated with a teaching diploma in 1983. In the season of 1978-79 he was the student of Regina Conservatory and a member of Regina Symphony Orchestra in Canada.
In 1986 he graduated from Liszt Academy with a degree in chamber music art and secondary school music teaching, following which he played in the Symphony Orchestra of the Hungarian Radio and taught at the Secondary School of Arts in Pécs. Since 1987 she has been a teacher of Farkas Ferenc Music School of Budapest and of Szőnyi Erzsébet Music School of Törökbálint since its foundation, as well as the instructor of the secondary school programme of Kodály Zoltán Hungarian Choir School. In addition, he is also an active church choir director.
He has been a cellist of the Budapest Strings Chamber Music for over three decades.
