Castle tours

The castle tour with music returns at the XXVI Haydn Festival with our orchestra.

When we decided to make Pápa the new venue for the Haydn Festival, one of our first plans was to show visitors this wonderful castle.

Together with local organisers, we have created interactive musical guided tours where visitors can learn about the history of the wonderfully decorated rooms of the building, hear exciting legends about the life of the Esterházy family and see how everyday life was lived in the castle while listening to Haydn’s wonderful chamber music performed by the Budapest Strings.
