Violinist Tamás Rónaszéki was born in 1961 in Kiskőrös, a the fifth child of a family with eight children. It was here where he began his musical studies. After graduating from the Bartók Conservatory in Budapest, he graduated from the Academy of Music in 1985.
From 1984 he started teaching at the Zoltán Kodály Secondary School of Music in Kecskemét, then he took a teacher’s positionas at the Bartók Conservatory in Budapest in 1989, where he has been teaching at the violin department ever since. His students include several winners, grand prize-winners and other award-winners of many national violin competitions. Since 2003 he has been a music teacher at the chamber music department of the Liszt Ferenc University of Music.
