She was born in 1973 in Győr. In 1992 she became a viola major student at the Budapest Academy of Music. Her teachers were Gábor Pongrácz, Károly Botvay, and Géza Németh. In 1994 she won the first prize at the National Viola Competition in Debrecen, and in 1996 at the Pál Lukács Memorial Competition. In 1995, she was runner up at the Leo Weiner Chamber Music Competition with a string quartet. From 1995 to 2000 she was a regular contributor to the concerts of the Budapest Festival Orchestra, and in 1996 to she was a member of the Symphony Orchestra of the Hungarian Radio. Since 1994 she has often performed in the productions of the Budapest Strings, then since 2000 she has been a member of the orchestra, and currently she is one of the section leaders. She enjoys playing in various chamber formations. She is at mother with two children, Daniel and Marcell.
