Anna Windberg

In December 1983, she participated in the first concert of the Budapest Festival Orchestra at the Academy of Music, and she also played here until the ensemble became a permanent orchestra. Meanwhile, from January 1984 she was a member of the Hungarian Radio Symphony Orchestra, then in the same year she joined the Budapest Strings.

She was born in 1983 in Budapest. She began her musical studies at the Ferenc Farkas School of Music in District I in Budapest. Between 1998 and 2002 she was a student of Teréz Pichner at the at the Béla Bartók Secondary School of Music, then she continued her musical studieas at the Ferenc Liszt University of Music from 2002 to 2007. She graduated from here 2007 in the class of Eszter Perényi. In 2000, 2001 and 2007 she won the 1st prize at the International Contemporary Music Performing Competitions in Balassagyarmat. In 2001 she was awarded the Bach Special Prize at the National Koncz János Violin Competition. She has participated in several international violin competitions, including the Leo Weiner Chamber Music Competition and Austrian chamber music festivals. She participated in the domestic and international courses of Zakar Brohn and Ferenc Rados.

Se has been playing in the Danubia Symphony Orchestra Since 2005, and in the Budapest String Chamber Orchestra since 2011, of which she has been a member since 2012.
